The Louisiana International Film festival is very excited to announce its inaugural event "The Big Lebowski" screening with special guest Jeff Dowd in attendance for Q&A after the film.

In Joel and Ethan Coen's movie The Big Lebowski, the lead character, "the Dude" aka Jeff Lebowski, played by Jeff Bridges, is inspired by Jeff "the Dude" Dowd. Aside from being a cult film icon, Jeff Dowd is a Los Angeles-based writer/producer, producer's representative, and a nationally recognized authority on marketing, distribution and exhibition.
