World Premieres

Films that are from studios, or classic divisions that are World Premiere showings.

American Independents

Spotlight on the most current, available films in the market place -if any of these seem right, and they are also World Premieres, they could be included in the above category.

Premieres

Films that may have premiered at other festivals, but would be the Louisiana Premiere.

Our Environment

Films that qualify should be focused on issues with/on/about our environment. If these films should happen to fit in any of the above categories, then they may also be included in the above categories, but we shall highlight them in our program.

Louisiana Throughout the Years in Film

A selection of films that have included (and celebrated), or were shot in Louisiana. This should also include current films.

Secret Festival

We do NOT give out the names of the titles, but they may include either films never before screened anywhere before, OR a classic film that has rights that are tied up, and we find collectors with private prints. This is usually a hugely attended series.

Tributes

To an Actor actress or director who hopefully is in the vicinity of Louisiana making a film, or is accessible to showing up for a tribute of their work.
